Suzuki Europe has improved the new Vitara (known as the Escudo in Japan) and announced the 2025 model on April 2, 2024 (local time).

The European Vitara has received another facelift, with upgraded safety features, a redesigned exterior (front bumper and alloy wheels), and a new infotainment system. The powertrain options, both hybrid and mild-hybrid, remain the same.

- DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) are slim and eliminate the fog lamps.
- Changed grill design.

The redesigned front bumper has slimmer side DRLs (daytime running lights) and no fog lamps, giving it a cleaner look. The grille design has also been changed.




Comparison with previous model
The front face of the previous model had a design that was strongly outdoors-oriented, but this facelift model has a cleaner impression and seems to have been changed to a design that is more urban-oriented.

The interior gets a new infotainment system with Suzuki’s 9-inch touchscreen display. The system supports USB, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity and is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also adds remote access to certain vehicle functions via the owner’s smartphone.
Safety features of the new 2025 Suzuki Vitara in Europe
It comes with Dual Sensor Brake Support II, a driver monitoring system, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, and lane keeping assist.
European Suzuki Vitara 2025 Model Specifications
The engine is a 48V mild hybrid that combines a 1.4L gasoline turbo engine with a maximum output of 127hp (95kW/129ps) and a motor with a maximum output of 14hp (10kW/14PS). It is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, and the drive system can be selected as 2WD (FF) or 4WD (AllGrip Select 4WD).
The other engine is a 1.5-liter engine that produces a maximum output of 99 hp (74 kW/101 PS), and a single electric motor that uses a 140V lithium-ion battery and produces a maximum output of 33 hp (24.6 kW/33.4 PS). The system’s maximum output is 115 hp (85 kW/116 PS) and is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Drivetrain options include 2WD (FF) or 4WD (AllGrip Select 4WD).
