The garnish around the bumper intakes has been redesigned to better highlight the new LED fog lights. The plastic exterior has a dark finish that matches the blacked-out mirrors, door handles, and roof rails. The N-Trek also gets a dark grille instead of the chrome finish found on other trims. A new set of 18-inch aluminum wheels has been added exclusively for the N-Trek. The color palette includes Gunmetal, Champagne Silver, Ivory Pearl, Diamond Black, and Ceramic Gray finishes, and some models also come with a black roof.

The X-Trail is available as a special edition N-TREK, based on the mid-spec ST-L trim, and comes standard with a 12.3-inch dual screen, a 10.8-inch head-up display, and the ProPilot safety suite. The N-Trek’s cabin is best characterized by new synthetic leather upholstery that is “water-resistant,” and is available in five- and seven-seater configurations.
