The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) will release the results of its verification of compliance with standards for three models: Daihatsu’s Move Canvas and Rocky HEV, and Toyota’s Raize HEV. The order to suspend shipments will be lifted on April 19, 2024.

Daihatsu Motor announced on April 19, 2024, that the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism had confirmed through witness testing and other tests that three models, the Daihatsu Move Canvas , the Rocky HEV , and the Toyota Raize HEV , comply with the standards of the Road Transport Vehicle Act, and that the order to suspend shipments would be lifted. Going forward, the company will be in close communication with its dealerships and suppliers as it prepares to resume shipments and production to avoid any confusion.
